  What is the Churn of the Unmade?  Metamodernist art by JJFBbennett It isn’t just paint; it’s the heavy, exhausting gravity of pure affectation. I applied these deep purples and stark whites with a thick palette knife, wanting you to feel the weight of the medium itself—the messy, chaotic over-saturation of our digital lives, the constant noise. It’s dense, tactile, and completely overwhelming. But  The chaos is interrupted by a line of perfect, unyielding geometry. A clear glass ring slicing straight through the noise. This physical ring stands as the initial boundary of awareness. On one side, the suffocating density of raw human expression and digital noise; on the other, a clean, projected window into an idealised, quiet simplicity.  Where does the noise end, and where does our awareness truly begin? In orbit's hush, yeah, where starlight hums a low low tune

No sonic boom, just cosmic rooms beneath the moon

And there it glows, a gentle gleam, a porcelain delight

Holdin' that stream, that vapor dream, bathed in pale starlight

Gold-rimmed and fine, this precious cup, a history it knows

Steam touches time, then drifts right up, in delicate flows

Memory-rich, each swirl and stain, a journey it implies

Washing away the cosmic rain behind your weary eyes


Yeah, the universe is spinnin', a million miles a minute

But in this capsule we're beginnin' a peaceful little visit

The caffeine whispers secrets old, of planets far and wide

A story to unfold, in every single tide... of flavor


Sip by sip, the galaxy softens, yeah, it starts to fade

The rough edges loosen, the cosmic burden, gently laid

Bitterness alchemised to stillness, a golden, mellow hue

No more cosmic illness, just me and you, and this brew!

While nebulae bloom, oh, beyond the glass, a vibrant cosmic show

Let worries assume a back seat, pass the sugar, let it flow!


The crimson swirl of a distant cloud, a painter's cosmic stroke

Reflects aloud, without a sound, upon this fragile spoke

Of pottery grace, held in my hand, a comfort and a guide

Across this space, this starlit strand, where weary thoughts can hide

The gravity of calm, yeah, it pulls you deep inside

No need for alarm, just let the moment ride

Time folds its wings, a paper crane against the void so vast

No more the stings, the hurried pain, the future and the past


Yeah, the quantum foam is bubblin', with possibilities untold

But in this moment, we're just troublin' nothin', brave and bold

The aromatic tendrils rise, a fragrant, sweet perfume

Lost in these celestial skies, escapin' every gloom... with this potion
