At the age of 60, I thought life would be much easier to understand In the '80s, I was painting art inspired by Fauvist, Cobra and Art Brut artists I wanted my art to be raw, powerful and primitive I was investigating our psychological and physical barriers as they failed to protect I wanted to paint self entrapment where sickness and resistance hid any possibility of outwardly demonstrating wellness. 

It is the smell that makes life so compelling The delicious smell of damp earth, fallen leaves and aged trees Return to an old wood rain forest to feel it in Sense the decomposing and surrendering of life Get to know the secrets held by the detritivore community Feed on the dead The scent of organisms recycling Making use of death for a continuation of life And allow the decay within to regenerate Picture yourself walking through a forest.  The light is fading fast You are racing to keep up with the light Apart from your panic everything is perfect What do you anticipate?

For a shortish time I flew Without a sense of weight But I was to return Fallen down To here Osaka Cool Twilight Know your roots Where you belong And when you started to seperate To become part of their world  To be driven by  their emotional experience To be part of another's assimilated narrative

Where to go when When struggles and feelings are destructive to your comparative mind When shifting displeasure from self-harm To those who have the power to harm Being denied by what you wanted For all of those legitimate reasons that pre-exist Osaka Standing I see you in the distance Some 7 lanes apart Standing alone in the rain At night sheltered by your umbrella Alone and in public being by yourself Not wanting to be noticed That is how we live now

So many to influence Persuade customers with your voice Whisper that you know Shout brazenly that you are trust Influence consumption A new channel A new drive A new target audience A new way to convince people To buy-in customer engagement For our conglomerates to regain market dominance I like you Osaka Decision Inside and outside Without planning Without the stress Not caring about being in the right Take the leap From excruciatingly pointless inaction Stop gathering  more and more information Make your right decision in your right time Step outside Find your way forward Wake up every morning refreshed

Are you tired grappling with the complex problems Your place in the universe Take a contemplative walk Make your choice Select your frame of mind Consider helping the poor and sick Why hurry Why catch up Kyoto Street Tree It is so easy not to see When mass media almost always the leads the  story with hate When religious media almost always justifies the story with damnation When politicians almost always employ inflammatory rhetoric to gain votes External attackers and internal disorder The Religious,  Government and Military shepherds are selling us safety through our fear

Evidenced prosperity and eternal continuation Meticulously realised Requirement proof of achievement Dedicated resources symbolised Making sure the job was done Finding a way to demonstrate the cause Accounted merit & overlooked squander Each concentration of power justified Then scale is diverted to an even more grand stature These the practices of the elite The stories we tell ourselves To allow it at home The power of beautiful impressions  Being both good and bad Desirable and undesirable
