The powerful in the era of displacement

Image
The powerful in the era of displacement The era of manual effort has become obsolete, overshadowed by a new phase where thoughts can be transformed into reality. The gap between an idea and its execution has vanished; you simply envision an outcome, and the system brings it to life. However, the true limiting factor is no longer skill, resources, or time, but rather human discipline . The world is now divided into two distinct paths: those who harness the system for their benefit and those who are controlled by it. For those who surrendered to frictionless ease , the sudden lack of a demanding workload plunged them into a collective waiting room, stripping away the "busy-ness" they once used to hide from themselves. In removing the friction of the daily grind, they traded their collective armour for convenience, and their edge vanished. Seduced by a " slow, insidious luxury ," this programmed class melted into a soft, passive hedonism. They became mere consumers ...

The Progress

The Progess - Nu Jazz by JJFBbennett

Intro:
Under the canopy of night, the mega city breathes.
Its streets, bathed in artificial glow, stretch out, endless.
Bridges and towers, silent sentinels, stand tall against the darkness,
Their lights are a beacon for our weary souls wandering beneath them.

Verse 1:
In this city of dreams and realities intertwined.
Cars drift slowly, each a microcosm, each a solitary journey.
The horizon promises more of the same.
A continuation of the unknown, the unseen, the unspoken.

Chorus 1:
And the lights, they tell stories,
But from afar, they blend into a tapestry of light and shadow.
A cold, distant beauty,
Reminding us of the vastness we pretend to understand.
The vastness.
Cold and beautiful.

Verse 2:
The city hums, a melody of human achievement,
Yet within its pulse, the silent voices go unheard.
Each window, a world, each light, a fragment of a life,
Together, they form a pattern.
A design too grand to decipher.

Chorus 2:
And the lights—they tell stories,
But from afar, they blend into a tapestry of light and shadow.
A cold, distant beauty,
Reminding us of the vastness we pretend to understand.
The vastness.
Cold and beautiful.

Bridge:
In the face of such immensity,
We embrace the absurdity,
Find comfort in the struggle,
And push forward, constantly pushing,
In this Sisyphean dance with life.

Outro:
Under the canopy of night, Melbourne breathes.
Its lights, its shadows, its stories.
They whisper of the unknown,
Of the endless journey we all undertake,
And the beauty we find in the struggle,
As we continue to reach, to strive, to live.
In the vastness.
Cold and beautiful.
In the vastness.
Cold and beautiful.

Outro:
Under the canopy of night, Melbourne breathes.
Its lights, its shadows, its stories.
They whisper of the unknown,
Of the endless journey we all undertake,
And the beauty we find in the struggle,
As we continue to reach, to strive, to live.
In the vastness.
Cold and beautiful.
In the vastness.
Cold and beautiful.
