  My Alien Plasma I made two digital artworks, each with a different approach. The first, Alien Plasma Neo, uses advanced digital editing to show a highly detailed energy being. The second, Plasma Alien, is a gestural painting that focuses on raw emotion. My interest in the 'energy being' theme comes from a lifelong curiosity about forces and life forms beyond what we usually see. I find energies and unseen phenomena fascinating because they represent transformation, vitality, and the mystery at the centre of my creativity. I want to explore how to visually convey inner power and life force, using both digital tools and painting techniques. I like experimenting with different tools to change an artwork. Comparing these two pieces shows how my intent shifts, much as a traditional artist might try out new media and methods. You can taste it in the air
It is outer-worldly
All alone
Radical
That night
Walk out of the car 
Feel special
Sheer bliss



Forget the narcissist leader
Who persuades you through their exceptional talent

The leader who elicits your secrets
Who manipulates every situation you are in

The leader who is beyond control
Who will make you regret

Idiots all of them
Basking in their callous work

Take a step outside
Walk into the night
And enjoy the uniqueness of life


I have always believed in miracles
My victory was expected
I was one of those unpopular leaders
But they voted me in

I want to make you happy
But I made a mess of it
From this crisis to the next
The smirk was killing me

But I learned quite a lot
I took command
I took control
I picked a direction and I went for it

I became humorous
I became frequent
I became spontaneous

They now know I care for them 
They now know that I understand 
I know what you are going through


The predicted actions of leaders
Who fall into helplessness
Who becomes passive, indecisive, and depressed
What to do when we are faced by failure

From childhood to adulthood
The accumulation of negative experience
From one season to the next

Sensing loss of influence 
And the failure of accomplishment
Then emphasizing caution and risk aversion
By weighing loss 
And not promoting gain

How to then
Regain pervasiveness
Take positive action
And aggressively take risks

  The Struggle for Authenticity in Art I want to speak today about authenticity . And about what we quietly give up to be accepted. We’re told that contemporary political art values autonomy . That artists are free. That inquiry sits at the centre of practice. But autonomy, in reality, is often something we *perform*— not something we’re allowed to exercise. Freedom is celebrated rhetorically, while legitimacy is granted only when work conforms to approved languages , approved theories , approved causes . Autonomy isn’t denied outright. It’s curated. This system doesn’t fail artists by accident. It functions mechanically. It rewards work that aligns with predetermined frameworks and filters out work that doesn’t speak the sanctioned dialect . Drifting Clouds

  Drifting Clouds between Hong Kong and Guangzhou When I was suspended in that atmospheric corridor between Hong Kong and Guangzhou, I was struck by how the sky felt like a turbulent yet tender expanse. I wanted my watercolour strokes to blend and blur on the paper, mimicking the ever-shifting weather patterns of the region. That is of moisture-laden clouds dissolve effortlessly into brilliant, open patches of blue. For me, this piece is an impressionistic echo of that flight. I was trying to capture that fleeting, weightless moment of looking out into a vast horizon, right when the heavens feel both endlessly deep and close enough to touch.
