When I seek shelter.
I am anxious.
Panicked by the cacophony of advice.
From all those loaded up.
With their wheelbarrows and bags of emotional weight.
I am delayed and postponed.
My dreams ruined.
Locked into procrastination.
I the belittled consumer.
Attached to every cause.
Designed by those more intelligent than me.
And then I downloaded a new app.
Now I am mindful.
In my cage.

  We're very confident in the legal basis for this, the integrity of the system, and the system's capacity to deal with any issues raised. In 2016, the Australian government introduced the Robodebt system to collect welfare overpayments, falsely accusing many of owing debts and causing immense harm to innocent lives. The system lacked oversight, accountability, and compassion, generating debt notices without considering individual circumstances, leading to widespread public outcry. Citizens united in resistance through a class action lawsuit to hold those in power accountable and seek justice, learning the importance of creating compassionate policies. Yet, I couldn't help but be buried in my thoughts as I walked through the deserted alleyways. My soul was burdened by depression and anxiety, and the suggestions of others simply made things worse.
